Peter Eyres - AIEMA ACIPR - Sustainability Partner

Peter is GREEN's sustainability strategy expert and resident academic.   Born in Germany and growing up in India and China, Peter has always had a global perspective on life. This was reinforced by stints working at an educational game park and environmental charity in Zimbabwe and a spell at the British embassy in Poland before he moved to London to study.

Peter's academic background is equally eclectic, covering everything from Third World Political Ecology to the application of complexity theories to the understanding of accountability. He also studied NGO and Development Management at the School of Oriental and African Studies and spent time at Save the Children's UK head office examining organisational accountability structures.

Since moving into communications, he has become a regular speaker on Corporate Responsibility and has consulted to organisations ranging from ASDA/WalMart and Kellogg's to the World Bank. Peter was also the lead outreach and communications delegate at the intergovernmental plenary of the International Assessment of Agricultural Science, Knowledge and Technology for Development (www.agassessment.org).

As well as being a partner at GREEN he is a Director of social enterprise The Animals' Lawsuit Project, which champions and delivers new approaches to education for sustainability.

Peter holds associate membership of both the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
