“We can't solve our problems with the same kind of thinking we used when we created them"   Albert Einstein

GREEN offers Sustainability Communications Consultancy services across a range of specialist areas. From building sustainable brands in the retail sector to developing social marketing campaigns for the public sector,  our aim is to use our global expertise in environmental communications to reduce the human impact on the environment and drive positive social change.  We’re also proud to say that we’ve only ever worked with organisations that share our values. That said, we’re happy to advise companies that need help to make the step change as long as our expertise is used for the greater good. We definitely ‘walk the talk’!

Brand Development

Building and retaining consumers’ confidence and trust in your brand and its environmental credentials requires long term commitment and consistent messaging.

We can help you develop brand conversations with all your stakeholders around the key sustainability issues through developing insights, brainstorming, concept development and visualisation, a brand refresh or market research. Focus groups are a good way to obtain a temperature check on emergent trends and cultures.

Sustainability Strategy

Regardless of size, companies are feeling the pressure from employees, customers and the market to develop a sustainability strategy. But a company looking to implement environmentally responsible practices for the first time faces a number of challenges: determining priorities, setting goals and measuring results, just to name a few. Making sense of it all is a task in itself and often, there’s no easy fix.

This is where we come in: we help you develop an integrated strategy that’s aligned with your organisational goals. And if you like, we can also help you execute, evaluate and communicate it.

Stakeholder Engagement

A partnership approach to informing strategic decision making not only makes it easier to manage the often complex responsibilities sustainability imposes on business, but is now also an integrated part of managing an organisation’s risk and reputation.

‘Stakeholder Engagement’ can help your organisation generate business intelligence, promote thought leadership, strengthen brand equity and drive innovation.  We can help you start your journey by identifying and mapping out your key stakeholders. We can work with you to develop a tailored messaging and engagement matrix for your organisation’s key challenges and issues.  And we can help you to actively communicate your commitment to leading the agenda rather than face accusations of ‘Greenwash’.

Employee Engagement

Your employees are generally your most important asset. Most people want to work for companies that are good corporate citizens. After board level buy-in your employees need to be inspired to embrace organisational change and live your values at every contact point with the external world.

We’ll help you implement tool kits or training days and work out the best channels to create a two way dialogue. Employee engagement also enhances your competitiveness – as an employer, as a thought leader. It can increase productivity enabling you to live your company values, walk the talk, as well as empowering people and increasing workforce motivation.

We offer tailor made Leadership Masterclasses and workshops with the participation of well known industry experts such as John Grant, Blake Lee Harwood and Julia Hailes.  These Masterclasses are designed to inspire senior management, develop board level visioning around sustainability and climate change in your organisation.

Social Marketing

This sets out to achieve specific behavioural goals for a social good such as fighting obesity, reducing addiction to cigarettes or getting the community walking more or out on their bikes.

Our experience of participatory stakeholder engagement is one way to try and help people tailor their needs to specific issues rather than trying to impose a one hat fits all approach.

Media Relations

Love it or loathe it, the media is essential for disseminating information and spreading the news. Understanding the media is crucial and developing relationships is key. For example, not all Sustainable Development topics are expected to evoke equal levels of interest among the public; social and economic issues are generally considered to be of greater interest to the public than environmental issues.

We’ll try and find ways for you to create a dialogue with the media through placing news stories, developing ideas for publicity stunts, designing press packs or convening press conferences.

Social Media

Social media is constantly evolving and opening up new opportunities and challenges around how information flows through society. It’s designed to be disseminated through social interaction on scalable online platforms. It’s about turning monologues into social media dialogues. It supports the democratisation of knowledge and information, transforming people from content consumers into content producers.

We’re happy developing ideas through to the implementation from a viral to a word of mouth campaign.

We offer Social Media Workshops to inspire management teams in your organisation about the power of the internet. The workshops focus on the whole spectrum of opportunities the web provides with practical tips on  developing a social media marketing strategy, implementing the campaign, and measuring outputs.
