Client: Green Party

Project: Media Plan

The Green Party was originally formed in 1973, with the first edition of Manifesto for a Sustainable Society as the party's statement of philosophy. We have worked with them since 2005 developing an overall media strategy.

The Green Party chose GREEN to develop a media strategy for 2005 General Elections.

After gathering information about the current perceptions amongst the electorate , GREEN created a media strategy that would raise awareness among all target audiences, leading to voter recognition, media and membership enquiries. More specifically we targeted the non Green Party Voters sitting on the fence to encourage them to switch votes in key favourable constituencies.

GREEN designed a PR campaign strategy to create strong awareness among all target audiences and reach out to a wider range of voters, potential members and donators.

GREEN has provided creative support ranging from a PR stunt involving an ice sculpture on College Green Westminster, to the design of targeted donor mailings featuring imitation banknotes.

In 2005, General Election has seen more Greens elected than ever before.
